How we price

The class is priced as if 75¢ of every dollar goes to claims. Clean accounts don't run that way.

Standard and E&S markets rate on class averages because they have no data on the account. We ask for more and rate on more: loss runs, MVRs, driver training and, once bound, telematics and daily driver check-ins through Dispatch. The result is a quote you can defend and a renewal story you can predict.

Why the market stays

Carriers leave NEMT when they lose money on it. This program is built to make money on safe operators.

Every operator on the program meets a safety standard, and the data they generate makes the book safer as it grows. That is the case for staying in the class when others exit, and the answer when your client asks, “Will they drop me next year?”

FAQ

What producers ask first.

Which brokers accept the certificate?+
Limits are built to the ModivCare, MTM and MATP minimums, and certificates are issued to each broker, health plan and agency holder on bind. Send the contract list with the submission and we map each requirement.
Can you bind a non-renewal before expiration?+
That's what the program is designed for. Mark the submission urgent; a complete file gets a yes or no, the price and the bind date within 24 hours.
Can you quote an account with no loss history?+
Yes. For new ventures, driver vetting and Shuttlebee University completion stand in for loss history.
Does the client have to use Dispatch?+
Dispatch comes with the policy at no added cost. The pre-trip check-in and telematics modules are what feed the rate and the renewal credit.
How is telematics data used, and is it shared with the agent?+
It's used for rating, renewal credit and loss control. Alerts go to the operator's safety lead with context, not to an automatic write-up. You receive quarterly safety summaries for each account.
How are claims handled and who do I call?+
One number, an adjuster who knows NEMT, and a trip record that includes the driver's account. You are copied on every first notice.
What is the minimum premium and are there fees?+
Published here once set.
